I had a successful pregnancy 9 yrs ago and one miscarriage last year at 10wks. My husband and I have been trying for about 6 months to get pregnant. Because I want it soooo much, I worry that I will look into things too much, so I am going to be patient and wait till my expected period in 6-7 days. But I can't help but wonder what these twitchy feelings in abdomen are. I have had them all day. Rminds me of when I was about 4 or 5 mos pregnant with my daughter, her first movements. Obviously I don't think its a baby moving around, but I've heard of people getting twitches or muscle spasms in lower abdomenal area and in fact being pregnant. Has anyone else experienced this??

I had something similar with my second pregnancy. From about 10 DPO to about a week later, I had the twitchies. I suppose it could have been my innards gearing up for another, but at the time, I wrote it off as "just gas."

With both of my pregnancies, I had uncomfortable crampy sensations as the ligaments stretched out. Maybe some people have twitches or spasms instead ...

Best of Luck!

It could be implantation. It takes 7-10 days after sex for this to happen. Also when a woman was to be pregnant it will trick her body into having symptoms. I wish you luck. I lost baby girl last month at 21 weeks and we will be trying again in Feb.
