What makes you think its infected?
Red and swollen and painful? Could be just from the cut. Is there foul drainage? Its infected and you should seek medical treatment. You could soak it in peroxide and out antibiotic ointment on it. Cover with a band-aide during hours you work or at school. Open to air while you sleep.Apply the ointment about four times a day and soak two times a day. If there is drainage or red streaks going up your arm, seek medical attention right away. You will need intravenous antibiotics at that point.

Infected Papercut

Depends how serious it is. If it's just a little bit red and pus-y then make sure your hands are clean, get a very very hot cloth and put it over it, hold it there for a little while, then pat dry, rub in some savlon and stick a plaster over it. After about a day replace the plaster with a clean one and some more savlon, use the hot cloth again too if there isn't a large improvement.

If the skin is sealed over the infection you might want to pierce it with a sharp clean knife or needle (use boiling water to clean the knife/needle) and let any pus out before you use the hot cloth.

If this cut is not healing, I would have it checked. It could be Staph. Better to be safe than sorry. This is after you have done what everyone else has suggested, Peroxide, Neosporin, wrap. Don't take a chance.

Alcohol or Hydrogen Peroxide, pat with dry towel, apply Neosporin with a Q-tip & Band-aid it.

Neosporin

Clean the wound, cover with neosporin and keep covered with clean bandage. Repeat for 3 days - if it doesn't improve, see a doctor. Generally, papercuts are not serious!
