Sources? You don't have any. It's more Republican lies.

If Democrats "cheered" Chavez, it would have been today, and there's no report of this on AP, CNN or Yahoo News.

Pancakes -- You don't need proof, you can almost hear Democrats cheer! You're such a rational thinker. What an intelligent way to get information!

You are so full of crap. Name us ONE democrat who cheered those comments.
Unfortunately because of king bush and his policy of hate, the sentiments of Chavez are those of many overseas. When bush gets on TV and says that god speaks through him and that he is doing god's work, then invades a country, spies on Americans, and uses his ignorant cowboy diplomacy, what do expect other leaders so say about him? Bush is an embarrassment to America. We need a president who understands that there are other viewpoints in the world besides his.

You are putting the cart before the horse. Democrats have nothing to do with the myriad of reasons why Bush is despised overseas. It's all his own doing and he is responsible. Overseas, people have a better perspective, not clouded by our conservative media. They see things that we don't acknowledge. They have a better world view. But even here, the only reason his approval rating jumps from 30% to 40% is because his oil company buddies make sure that gas prices go down by 40 to 50 cents a gallon, right before the November election. You ought to read 1984 by George Orwell, because that is exactly what we are living right now. The ministry of truth is you. The way to control people's thoughts is your way - it is to accuse and vilify those who point out your flaws. Accuse us of being unpatriotic. Accuse us of supporting anti-American sentiment overseas (as if that needs our support to exist). Accuse us of treason. And funniest of all, you paint us as depressed and unhappy and whining. You are a real joker. You are a protege of Hitler. You will do and say anything to get your cohort's minds out of seeing reality. Be happy.

There is no diff in Dem or Rep. But it was kinda funny that even people from the out side have noticed. GWB is kinda hard to hide from our visitors no matter how hard we try. He is like a little out of control kid.

But did you not know that Chavez only said that to keep iran from converting him by sword? Chavez is afraid of Iran.. He has to conform or get his @ss kicked. I mean do you think the USA will protect him from Iran? not a chance. That way we can just wait for Iran to take one out and then Israel will take the other out. Two birds with one stone and we never have to lift a finger.

His remarks was very child like and I started to laugh at him because of how childish they was not because of what he asid about bush. I would bet that was why the dem was laughing too..

Was pretty funny.. lol A grown man that rules a whole country saying something like that.. lol

And that's great for Republicans! Watch President Bush's poll numbers go up again. If Democrats embrace Chavez's comments , he'll hit 60 approval. November is looking better and better....

And....so what's so new about that? Heck, even Bill demonstrated in against the Viet Nam war when he was in England. What would there be for them to whine about if they didn't spread anti American sentiment overseas? How Bush stole the elections?! That gets old after a while.

Who the hell does he think he is speechifing freely like that...an american?? Doesn't Chavez know that our glorious leader is a WAR PRESIDENT and that he is...in fact....THE DECIDER!! (ten-tun-ten) He should be dragged to the Supreme Court by his nostril hairs and tried for treason. There...doesn't baby feel better now?

Dean and Reid are correct. Chavez sounds like a very religious man. Bush claims god talks to him. And that god told him to invade Iraq.
