I do not believe in success. Things happen in life that tear us from those we love, from paths that could bring us to our dream careers...
All that we have that we consider success will fade. But we still march on.
Is success raising a child? What about the woman who cannot have a child?
Is success running a buisness? What happens when that buisness goes bankrupt because of the market?
Is success being happy? Do we really have control over being happy... Sadness comes upon us when we don't now it.
Is success a long, healthy life? What about the leukemia patient, a 5 year old, who has only months to live?
I guess success is this moment. No matter what you have, no matter what you're going through... You have this moment.

Life is not an end in and of itself. Therefore, there can be no possible single defined goal.
Without a goal, it is not possible to succeed.
Therefore, I have no definition for the above. It is just a meaningless statement, "success in life".

Being a good person, helping others and in doing so maybe inspiring others to do the same, being thankful for what you have and not want for more....(not meaning money wise) And living long enough to see my children become good people:o) That to me is success...being a success in life, (not money matters.)

Ah sweet success. When you only have to do those things you want to do for no other reason than you enjoy doing them.

That upon your death... many come to your funeral to say goodbye. Because they will miss you truly and they loved you as their own.
(2Cr 1:9) But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:
(Rom 8:2) For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
(Rom 5:17) For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
In death we will be forgotten.
(Rom 6:4) Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
(Ecc 9:5) For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
