Because people never think they have enough money!!!
How do you think rich people got rich in the first place... being tight with there money!!! They would always prefers to spend other people and not touch there's!!!

Well, my bank requires that I keep a minimum balance of $50,000 or they charge service charges. By keeping a balance this high, the bank does anything and everything you want. The best answers here explain that the rich are the most frugal. I always said that my mom put every nickle she had on the train tracks and waited till enough trains smashed it to turn it into 50 cents. She was the queen of frugal and left each of us 10 kids 18 million when she died. But we ate a lot of cabbage, beans, and oatmeal to get this rich. Petty cash for me is about $3,000. So, if I don't have a lot more in my pocket than petty cash, I'm pretty much broke. Hope this explains it OK.

A lot of people you consider rich based on how they look or dress, etc, are really living day to day on credit and may have very little cash at their disposal.

How do you think they got rich?!?! They sure weren't throwing their money away... they just don't want to get rid of it quickly so they tell everyone they have none.
