I can't imagine wanting to kiss my wife, were she to start chewing tobacco. Actually, I wouldn't. I can't imagine a more unappetizing idea.

I told my husband ALL kisses were off if he chewed tobacco back when we were dating! He said kissing me was like kissing a wet ashtray (I smoked) we quit for each other...you aren't psycho...you just don't want his awful tobacco smelling, cancer causing mouth touching yours...that is more than fair! HEY that is a good question...2nd hand contact from chewing tobacco - can that cause cancer? hmmmm....

My husband is a smokeless tobacco user too. He knows not to even attempt to kiss me if he has that stuff in his mouth. He doesnt even try. He spits it out and brushes his teeth before he comes near me. It's a respect thing. Just tell him how you feel. He should respect that and not think your a psycho.

My husband was always considerate and would not attempt to kiss me if he had a wad in his mouth. The only problem I had were the half full of chew soda bottles he left all over the house or when he spit in my drinking glasses that was gross.

Not sure. I have never been faced with that. However.. mine has severely decaying teeth. Not sure what would be worse.. the chewing tobacco or the stench from the wretched breath.

Yeah, that's a super gross habit! Ask him to brush his teeth, floss AND use mouthwash if he wants to keep being kissed and chewing at the same time!
Stand your ground, Hon. He shouldn't be doing it in the first place and you know that!

I think people who smoke or chew tobacco are NASTY. No matter how much they brush, they can't get this taste out. I don't blame you one bit. It's a disgusting habit.

Yuck,. Ya, At least for me it would be an issue. I've I were in your shoes, I hand the man a piece of chewing gum and make him rinse his mouth out prior to any lip locking. That's just plain *** NASTY stuff.
