2. Landscaping.
3. Entry level sales at a department store, not including cashier.
4. Construction.

Tough times for pretty much every other job. Even criminals will check on your background before trusting you with a job.

1. Probably anything related to landscaping/yardwork.
2. If you can pass a drug test, then you can probably work at a grocery store, or another box store such as Best Buy
3. Working for local businesses. Many local business are too busy or don't have the resources to afford background checks, so if you make a good first impression, they will skip it.

Background checks are usually done for "sensitive" positions that have a higher visibility and/or a position of trust (money, property, sensitive data).

It depends on the employer. There are too many jobs to mention that are available to you without a background check, but just be patient.
