actually ive done it once before but had nothing to do with throwing stones in the washing machine...try what you want, by all means...but i took new jeans outside and put them on the gravel and ran over them with the car until i got the look i desired...you could also rip a few spots to make them look authentic and dont forget to wash afterwards...hope i helped

You might look at your local store that carried Rit Dye, they might carry something that will do the job, Rit carries a large assortment of items...you might also look at a fabric or craft and hobby store.

dont think so. its really complicated.
i buy them, JCPenney has pretty cheap ones so i used to go there but i go to aeropostale now,
