I would switch. If you are already thinking this way at the beginning of the year, you will want to pull your hair out by the end of the year. You'll be unhappy in the class, too, which means you'll be a problem for the teacher eventually, too. (On the other hand, you need to let your teacher know that you want an education and that you feel you won't get it in that class. Your teacher needs to know this, and maybe, if you tell him/her, he/she can correct the problem. In addition, your friends need to know from you that you think they are being stupid, too. You need to stand up for what you want; your friends need to learn from you. Be responsible! If you feel this way, there are others in the class who do, too!)

Education comes first! If you don't like the people in that class just deal with it. More than likely there will be some one in that class that wont act dumb and you can make a new friend. You can hang with your friends later, they should understand.

I think you should switch classes. remember you can always make plans with your friends out of school but switching classes you can get a better education witch can only benefit you.

stick with it. it will help you because it will make you a more socialised person in the future. because you are going to meet a lot of snobbish rock white men in the future.so if you get used to it will become easier. and you do get a good education.
