i havent watch pokemon like about 2-3 years and now i just saw that Ash was with other friends (May and Max). And where did Ash meet May and Max?

May and Max are brothers, he met them when he started a new adveture in a new region. May and Max's dad is a professor like Professor Oak.Misty went her own seperate way, (to the cerulean gym I think.)
