to me 1995 was a damm good year, the britpop scene produced some really good bands.

1991-1994 was my fave... Oldskool hardcore, Techno and Jungle... The tunes they pumped out then were absolutely amazing!! I still mix those tunes today and the response you get from the crowd is unbelievable!!

I like this quetion, and I'll answer with an era, then a specific year. I'm very into what you would call classic rock. So for me the years of 1970-1985 were the best years for music. Everything popular entering the 90's in my own opinion turned more into how much money you could mkae rahter then the love of music.

'93 to '97 Britpop ruled and u could see some excellent bands every night, then it all went pair shaped untill The Rifles and The On-Offs came along last Summer...

For the ultimate blend of musical tastes, I'd say around 1980-1981. Still a bit of punk around, reggae, ska, disco, the start of New Wave, and also the period of the single worst case of musical injustice...Joe Dolce beats Ultravox to number 1 on Feb, 1981! Shaddup You Face!!!

Far to many years...I loved the 60s for pop, the 70s for Prog and punk, very little glam but I do have a soft spot for Bolan.The 80 were a little weird and I feel now as though everyone is getting a little desperate to be the next big thing......but it aint going to happen.

1994 a brilliant year for Britrock bands like THE WiLDHEARTS, Terrorvision, Reef, Therapy?, Ash, Skin, The Almighty etc.

Definitely 1991, everything just came together. Bands that put out tons of CD, put out their best ones in '91.
