Is it safe to say that the akatsuki members are taking the tailed demons and putting them inside themselves? Zetsu looks like a plant and Kisame looks like a shark and has what looks like gills on his face. I was thinking this because naruto has whiskers from the nine tails and gaara has the dark rings around his eyes....could this be a true assumption?

lol..cool theory Well i think they need nine tails because they want to use his powers and obtain the Demon fox. There are about 9 youmas think about it nine membes of akatsuki..so what i think they need all nine Jiyuuki's whatever how you called them. I know they collected the Three Jiyuuki's(all well can't spell) The one tail from Gaara, Yugito a two tail beast Demon Cat, and three tails. yup yup

I HAVE THE SAME THEORY AS YOU. You see, there are nine demons in the NARUTO world. There are nine official members in the Akasuki. I believe Akaksuki are after the demons to become the strongest ninja organazation. My theory, since Sasori was after Gaara's demon, Sasori is suppose to get the racoon. Kisame already has the three tail shark. And I think either Itachi or the Akatsuki leader (unknown) will get Nine Tails, the strongest demon. Your theory has a good observation of the distinctive attributes of certain members so yeah I agree to some degree of your Akatsuki theory...because remember Kisame has a large amount of chakra even the Leader compliments it !

cool! good observation...! I, myself, don't actually know what their motives are... However, as what i have read at rescue gaara arc, chiyo-baasan mentioned about the goal of akatsuki. She said that the plot of akatsuki is to kidnap all the persons, uncluding naruto, that have the shukaku inside their body and extract it in order to dominate the world...

I never thought of that...Nice one! It could be a possibility, but then there aren't exact episode or chapter which says what the hell are they actually planning. Masashi Kishimoo-sama sure does like to play with the fan's minds.

i thought they were collecting them to create a super powerful demon of some sort, but i like your idea better
