What would happen if i went into the airport and laid down, staring at the ceiling for a couple of hours?

You would probably get kicked alot. Most people are rushing and may not see you laying on the floor, cause they'll be looking up for the right gate and everything, so you'll probably end up tripping alot of people (by accident) and may cause a body pile up. hahaha :)

I am confident that you would not get arrested for just laying on the floor. However, if you don't have a ticket and cash they could arrest you for loittering. It would be a sure bet that you would be watched very carefully by security, and possibly detained for questioning. The funny part is that a lot of other people would slow down to see what it is you are looking at, kind of like looking at the sky just to see how many others look up to see what you are staring at. It gets funnier if you take a friend and every once in a while point at nothing at all.
