I think that is a wonderful idea. I don't watch the news because it makes me furious.
Please do so. I really think thats a great idea.

Apparently you only watch the shows with the bad news of the
day. Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) have good news
almost every day, like the 700 Club. There are some stories that
are so good, they could be called miracles. Watch them once
in a while (even if that's not your kind of program), it will give
you a lift instead of depressing you. We do have a choice.

It'd be a great program. It should be the first, also, to follow up regularly on previous events. I wish newspapers would do that right now. How often have we read an account in the columns, then thought, "well, I'll never hear what happens to the guy . . ."?

Yes, I would actually watch the news if there was a "Good News TV Station". Maybe we can encourage Oprah in that direction :)

You Bet. i have stopped watching our three news channels here in Birmingham..First twenty minutes is about the violence that has taken place in schools, along with the murders that have taken place over the night, or week-end. I may watch Rita Cosby at times on MSNBC as it is news but a different format.

not to be mean, because I think it is a good idea. But there is a show already like that it is on comedy Central. There are too many people out there that would make it not work. choose on your own..

Good news doesn't sell, but the closest "Good News TV Station" is Fox, that's why they're number one!

Aa, god bless you! Unfortunately, few people will watch: your average TV viewer wants to see that other people are worse off then they are, hence the topics on the news...

bad news sells papers. they all report good news everyday, but then they jump to the bad news.
People are cruel, and we have to hear moredetails of their cruelty as time goeson.
