The pain you are experiencing is from the buildup of lactic acid in your muscle tissues. The best way I have found to clear this is to get your muscles warm again with stretching and light exercises. It is normal to get sore after a workout, especially if you don't do it often or if you push yourself a little more than you normally do.
I have found from my training and experience that a calcium supplement taken before the workout and after the workout will help clear the lactic acid more quickly. I usually take calcium daily or every other day, and a magnesium supplement on alternate mornings.
Good luck!

Can you take 5-10 minutes before and after your work-out to do stretching exercises? If you're sore the next day, can you do a light work-out, or just stretching exercises? Then in a day or two, ease back into your work-out and keep the stretches as part of your routine.
Right now, a warm bath or shower may help you feel better.

That happens to me whenever i start working out but after awhile of working out your body gets used to it. This is a MYTH-- good workout is determined by the level of soreness that is felt afterward. Although soreness can indeed occur after a good workout, all good workouts do not result in soreness, so don't make the mistake of using this as a gauge. The more conditioned you become, the more resilient you will be and the less likely it will be that you will always be sore after your workout.
Along similar lines, "no pain, no gain" is not a good motto to live by when working out. Pain is your body's way of letting you know it is in trouble, so respect this signal and train accordingly.

Women don't "cry rape". It's certainly rare. In fact for most women, admitting to the fact of rape can be quite a struggle. It took your friend 3 weeks to get over her fear that she wouldn't be believed, that you would reject her cry for help. Three weeks ago your friend was raped by your husband. What will happen now is that either you will continue in this state of denial, or you will divorce him and support your friend. The choice you make will say a lot about the kind of woman, the kind of human being you are. Step up, lady. Step up.

Dont listen to those. You have to overload your muscles for them to grow. Thats why walking everyday doesnt give you massive muscles, because it isnt an overload. Aches are just a sign of this and usually mean that your muscles have had a good workout

Its lactic acid built up in the muscles. Keep stretching and it will go away. The more you 'baby' your body the longer it will hang around.
