No idea. The only common sense I have about this is "Have plentyof money in your pockets, that you are able to live independently in another country." That's the only advice I can give you. It takes ton's of money to do so.
I migrated from Germany to here. I had to save several year's worth of money, so that I was able to support my self. I think that it is visa versa too.....

It's not so much about leaving the US; you can basically just pack up and go, that's easy enough. The part that takes the time is on the other end, the immigration into another country, and that differs from nation to nation. You can just show up with a passport in Paraguay and get residence, but you may have to wait two years for a residence permit to enter New Zealand. All the other places are somewhere in between. The best way to accelerate the process is to know where you want to go, have the necessary paperwork, moneys, and translations ready, language training taken, and job lined up. If you're in a hurry to get out, either go to Canada, you can just live there with a US passport if I'm correctly informed, or try Europe, they give out visas pretty fast (any EU-country including Ireland, the UK, Sweden, France, Germany, etc.), but if you've got time, try places like Australia, Switzerland, they are a bit on the slower side, but worth waiting for.
