I know, how boring is that?! I have made a point out of never watching any of these shows... which leaves me with very little to watch. I like to say I don't watch them because I don't want to encourage that crap, but I must admit I'm also scared I'll end up addicted to some of these shows... cuz it seems that's what it does to people, I've seen it happen!!

Because we're running out of people with creative minds& they can't write decent scripts, for GOOD tv shows, One reality show makes it big, so everyone has to cash in on this & show nothing else, its reached a point that I dont watch as much television, because of thestupidity of some of these programs. between all the sports shows & the reality shows theres not to much interesting on TV. I thought thats what all the ESPN channels were for ??

It's due to the ratings... if so and so people watch it then it get's continued. Shows like Survivor, Big Brother, and Amazing Race all get continued because people also sign up for it due to the major cash prize being a million or a fair ammount.
Also celebs have re hashes of shows due to their wanting of attention... it's all psychology... If you watch a show about a famous celeb... and they have a movie coming out soon it should in fact urge you to see it... but lol I could go on and on

because it made for brain dead people with the attention capacity of a fruit fly, all this car crash TV, full of "CELEBRITY"and i do use that word loosely, "REALITY" and non stop bloody "QUIZ" channels, are people in this country that brain dead to accept this kind of TV viewing, think back to years ago and some of the great TV programmes both ITV and the BBC produced now its the same show used over and over again, with a different name

And now with shows like Big Brother any half arsed nutter can be called a celebrity, think about that annoying blond spoilt *****, from this year, and that about puts it in a nutshell.

have you noticed that the untold hobby of majority of the people is gossiping which means people are eager to know what goes on in everyone's life. reality TV shows that. also, human by nature no matter how sweet talking or good natured they are, want to find flaws in people admired and envied by many, hence celebs.TV is to entertain and whats better than reality in fantasy?

Most 'celebrities' are talentless morons exploiting the general public with their crass opinions. A bit like Americans really

Because it seems the masses are obsessed with being arm chair voyeurs. It's easier to sit at home & live vicariously through others than to actually go outside & enjoy your own life.
