Producer is the top dog. He/she provides the idea, gets the thing moving and requires sex acts from all the actors he/she invited into the production (along with the director on the invitation part).
The director gets most of the sex however and refers to the actors as "cattle" while ordering/bossing/bullying them to tears during the actual filming/videoing. He/she also gets to munch from the free food table while the actors are all mouthing and emoting the scripts they have memorized--a task that can be equally well done by any highschool senior play participant, by the way.

The director works with the actors and cameramen especially, making sure that the emotions of the story are portrayed correctly.
The producer makes sure that the director sticks to the budget for the film and they handle the logistics of making and marketing the film.

A Producer assists with the plot of the show ideas etc...the director calls the shots on the set.
