not the walmart brand (dee dee deeee). many are good. toy matchine, zero, zoo york, baker, element, blind, lakai, almost, birdhouse, and so on.

If i were you i would go for a board with a lot of pop such as popwar, zooyork or baker. These boards not only have good pop but two out of the three boards have really doog concave, which makes it easier to do flip tricks. The Other board that i like to use is plan b.

Depends on what you want to do...street riding, you want to stick with a longboard...if you are more interested in doing tricks and the vert stuff, you'll want a shorter one. I have a Zoo York Joey Pepper board and it's okay, but I honestly have more fun on a longboard. And I now have to give a blatant shout-out to my friends Adam and Adam that skate for Loaded Boards. They are most fun boards I've ever skated on (and that's the truth!) They are longboards and super-bouncy and have a lot of give. Totally fun!!

As long as they're made by a reputable company and in America, they're all pretty good. Even Tony Hawk, co-owner of Birdhouse, tells you that in the first segment of his Trick Tips 1. I prefer Outlook, Element, Girl, and Stereo, but that's preference.

FiberFlex with Tracker trucks and Simms or Kryptonic wheels. Worked great in the 1970 and would work great now.
