Although she can be a bit abrasive when she gets angry, I think she is pretty fair in her court. She has a way of seeing past the bs and can tell when people aren't being truthful. I think the people who try to get away with things learn pretty quickly that she isn't gonna let that happen. Having said that I wouldn't want her ranting at me, I'd probably start crying.

No, Judge Judy is very cool.
Watch how many people lie to her in court though - seems like more than half. And she usually catches them, too.

actually i watched an interview with judge judy and she is actually a nice lady. she has grandkids and everything. she says that the way she acts on the show is just that...an act.

I like her, she sees through people and the bull.... they try to pull, sometimes she gets a little rough but most of the time they deserve it.
She has something against stupid people.
