science and fantasy but i really dont have any ideas. thats why i posted this question so i could get help with ideas for something like that.

Why do you want to write a story at all if you can't come up with an idea on your own? I am just curious.....if you can't use your imagination to come up with an idea,what makes you think you'd be able to write at all? I write and am bombarded with dozens of ideas everyday. It is essential to a writer's success to be able to find inspiration in the most mundane event or even a simple overheard conversation. Look at your life and everything that is going on around you as potential material,daydream, but most of all,observe and file!! If you still can't get inspiration,you're not a writer.

You should really come up with a topic that YOU are interested in. Writing is challenging and there is nothing worse than trying to write something you have no interest in. What subjects are fun to you?
