was asking for a way to transfer pictures to mugs and ceramics my search gave me that .. waht is dacal??

A laser water slide decal is a thin transparent sheet of plastic-like film, adhered to a paper backing, that can be printed on with a laser printer.
Once the printed film is cured, the paper is immersed in water, and the film "slides" off the paper. The paper is discarded, and the transparent film "slides" onto the finished product. The water beneath the film is pressed out, and the decal (printed film) adheres to the final product surface.

a decal is like a sticker, just normally a little stickier
