1. get her involve into a drama class or look it up on the internet and have your family take you to the closes place for that try out.
Good luck in finding one.

1. You'll need to move to the big city (Burbank, CA) where anything Disney's (TV) headquarters is. Not worth it unless she got talent.
2 & 3. If you looking for a comibination of Manga and Anime the following I would say is the best combination:
-Genshiken
-Boys Be
-Nana
-Eureka Seven
-Boys over Flower
-Ai Yori Aoshi
All of them are animes and manga a list of links to fan sites and wikapedia is listed below. If your intrested in love and romance Boys over flower I would consider the best, a hidden gem and don't be put off by the age of the anime. The story is timeless!

5. You live in the 21 century never forget that you have the internet, email, and if you want to go even more high tech skype! There isn't one place she can't go that you wouldn't be able to talk with her. If she's your best friend then she will always be their for you in person or half a world away. 1) Good for her, I wish her luck. The best way to get any kind of acting gig is to go out and act in plays, local tv shows, school productions, etc. Make sure that these are on tape to build a "demo" of what she can do. Also, she will need an agent. In a lot of cases there will be agencies that have offices in most cities.

3.) Go to youtube.com and search for Rozen Maiden and pick oranges01 as the author (great quality). I heard about it at Anime Saturday and i loved it. There are only 12 eps. :( , but once you're done with those ones, search for Rozen Maiden Traumend, and there are 12 more eps.
Another choice would be to watch AzuManga Daioh.
These both are really funny, and RM has a lot of fighting. (just so you know).
