I am going to Jamaica next month and I noticed on Yahoo! weather that it is the rainest time of year there than. Does it rain like all day? Or is it just a light shower and then it clears up? Am I going to be stuck in my hotel because of rain? Or will I be able to go to the beach?

My boyfriend who is from Jamaica says that no matter whether it pours or sprinkles there is NO WAY that you are going to stay inside your hotel room!! There is a TON of stuff to do...RAIN OR SHINE!

Only when there's a system in the area does it rain all day. Typically it rains a little then it stops and then the air is clean and the place is green and beautiful. I was on campus yesterday and it rained and when it was done the campus was soooo beautiful and green. Love it! You can go to the beach regardless; even at night.

It never ever rains so that u r stuck in ur hotel (except there is a tropical depression or something) when it rains it is still warm and u can still go out and have fun. Have a great time.

Well now that we live in the Caribbean we will get showers of rain even more now because it is still the hurricane season. The rain will fall really hard then stop. It falls in the day or in the night depeding on whee you are.

Well I just there in june and it would rain for a hour and then clear up... I do not where you are staying but you have got to go to Rick's Cafe....Awsome sunset... Any way Have Fun .... Good Luck
