A cup with a lid

2006-09-20 18:09:46 · answer #2 · answered by Jen G 6 · 0 0

It's actually an ornate type of cup with a lid on it. Fancy and old-fashioned. It's the type of cup that alot of cup-style trophies are based on. It generally will have a stem and a base and sometimes has handles on one or both sides.

I guess you could call children's sippy cups or fast-food cups "lidded," but technically, it usually refers to a certain specific style rather than just any cup with a lid on it.

I believe a lidded cup is a cup with a "fixed non removable lid" with a sipping hole in it. Any other cup that has a lid on it and "is removable" is a cup with a lid on it.

Hi Molly,

It is a cup with a lid on it.

Instead of saying, "I need this answer now" it would be nicer to say, "Thank you."
