there's lot of different fields in zoology, so by "zoologist" i dont really know what you're referring to. you can go into animal behavior (a concentration of zoology), and study animals out in the field or in a laboratory. you can be a zookeeper with a degree in zoology. or a marine biologist also has a degree in zoology. or you can get your zoology degree and then go to vet school, like i'm doing!

being a zoology major is really cool, but really hard too. i get to take fun classes like animal behavior, but then i also have to take boring, hard classes like chemistry, calculus, and ecology. try and get as much experience with animals while you can in the process - start now! and good luck!!

I'm working on my B.S. in Zoology. Can't tell you about the job yet, still in college.

Basically you study animals...or you work with them in a zoo or something. There's bit of flexibility on the exact job, but animals will be a part of it, regardless.

Well, I'm not really a zoologist yet, I'm still in college. But what do you want to know? Try these links, which is for the natural science department at my college. It might answer some things for you. Look around...

Zoology is unfashionable these days. Become a biologist who researches animals.
