Say they both go undefeated. They play eachother in the final game of the season. What are the chances? What would have to happen?
By the way, where is the national championship game being played this year?

Anything is possible. Of course they play in the regular season finale at Columbus as you know. If they are both undefeated and ranked no. 1 and 2 in the BCS poll, or maybe no.1 and 3 and Michigan won in their regular season matchup, why not? If USC has a loss and Auburn and West Virginia have losses or are ranked lower than Michigan going into that game Michigan could certainly be no.2 or no.1 in the BCS poll. It is possible these two Big 10 rivals could play twice this year. Personally, I think USC will be in the National Championship Game against Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl in Arizona. I'd prefer Auburn in that game but have a really hard time believing they will come out of the SEC undefeated or no.2 in the BCS poll because the competition in the SEC is tops in the country. Michigan looked super last Saturday destroying ND.

theoretically it could happen if they both go undefeated, and the game at the end of the year is a close one, and there are no other undefeated teams, they could be ranked #1 and #2 and play for the National Chapionship, but the chances are unlikely.
It would be better for them if they played earlier in the season, but thats part of the reason they play at the end, so the team thats out of it has a chance to knock off the team thats still in. This years game will be Jan. 8th in Glendale, AZ, new home of the NFL's Arizona Cardinals.

If there are no other undefeated teams when they play, it is possible for them to have a rematch in the BCS National Championship game, which is at the Fiesta Bowl, if the game is close. If it is a blowout, there is no chance they could meet again.

I would say that possibility is very unlikely because the loser would most likely drop below #2 and therefore not be in the national championship games, and because they are in the same conference they cannot meet in a bowl game.

Thats almost impossible. It'll most likely be Ohio State vs. a team like Auburn or USC

Well that is very impossible, because one team ( Michagan, I'm an OSU fan) cannot go undefeated because the last week game is OSU vs. Michigan and they both can't win that game. Someone's gotta lose.

I think Michigan has a 110% chance of winning...players to fear: Steve Breston and Chad Henne.

No - because after Michigan beats OSU (ok - I hope - I hope) Michigan will be number one and OSU will drop in the polls to far and it will be Michigan probably vs USC like it was in the Rosebowl a few years ago - but with different results.
