I had a cannon mulipass 3 in one, cant remember if it was an f 60, but i started to get that same message and i just pressed the reset button. This temporarily fixed the problem, but then i got another message saying waste ink tank near full, then it wouldnt print at all.I rang the cannon agent, and it was going to cost me more for them to open it up , than it was to buy another printer. The waste ink tank is on the right hand side, underneath the area where the ink cartridges return to after printing.I tried to open mine up but it was too hard to do, so i actualy cut a hole in that side with a hole saw and found the tank, and cleaned it out, but it still wouldnt reset so i threw it in the bin and bought a cheap epson cx3700 ,it cost me less than $100 (Australia).best of luck, but i would start looking around for another printer, those waste ink tanks on the cannon-sucks, its not even a tank, its just a tray with felt in it that soaks up the exess drips.-good luck my freind.

the waste tank is shrink than the printer head housing many times indoors the suitable of the printer. in case you would be able to comprehend the thank you to open the printer open it then look for the foam and replace it. or you would be able to bathe the foam and dry first interior the previous return. purely by fact the foam is finished of wasted ink simply by fact of this you'll be able to prefer to alter or wash it.
