I know 2 sisters who are getting an inheritance from a grandfather. It is a very hefty sum of money. One sister wants to give 10% to charity (she has missionaries in her family who fund their own travels) I guess you could call it a tithe. It's the same as giving to a charity.
The other sister says she's stupid for doing so.
I have my own opinion but have to remain nuetral to keep the peace.
What do you say?

If she feels led to give a portion of hers as a charity contribution, that is her perrogative. The other sister should realize that if her grandfather had the greedy attitude she does, she probably wouldn'have an inheritance at all.

I think it's great that one sister wants to give 10% to charity. If everyone thought that way, the world would be a better place. In any event, it's none of the other sister's business what the first sister does with her share.

i say that if they're over 18 they can do whatever they want with their money... whether it's to give to charity or buy 500 pairs of shoes. it's her money and she can so as she pleases.

Each sister should do whatever they want with their share. The second sister should mind her own matters.

If she wants to donate to charity, let her. It's her $$.
