Nooooo, they had to get Aaron Brooks (the worst QB in the league). I mean look at what happened in Indy when they started a rookie QB. Peyton is now an all-star

Ok, or Jay Cutler.

Both have great talent.

Because Al Davis is incompetent and senile.

The Raiders had so many holes to fill that even if they would have drafted a QB they wouldnt be much better off. The AFC West is too good of a division for the raiders to get good any time in the near future. Denver is at the Top, San Diego is on there way up and KC is actually on there way down. For the earlier answer Moss and Culpepper are not on the best terms and wouldnt want to play together agian... If i was the Raiders i would try to get Matt Schaub from Atlanta or someone else through trade, they need to make a move soon.....

Because Al Davis is a stupid moron who lost his touch years ago and is a stupid meddling freak, chasing off the only good coach he's seen in fifteen years.

I've been a Raiders fan for 35 years (far back as I can remember) and it's just painful to see them throw these teams of losers together these days. You could add four wins to the schedule if the idiotic Moss and Porter would decide they want to work for a dang living...

BPZ: Denver at the TOP???? LOLOLOL! Denver will be lucky to go 8-8. They'll be running hard just to get close enough to San Diego to smell their crusty shorts.

I dont think highly of Matt Lienart but anything is better then what they have. Brooks was a failure for the Saints (an even worse franchise at the time) I would have at least traded down and tried to get Jay Cutler

Matt Leinart changed his agent at the last minute, firing Lee Steinberg. A lot of NFL people thought he had gone Hollywood and would be difficult to sign. After all, the Raiders were not the only team to pass on him. Wasn't he drafted 10th?

This is the same Raiders team that had faith in Kerry Collins.

You can't expect much from their staff right now, none of their draft picks were significant, and by next year, they will be signing a Quarterback with the first pick. Most likely Brady Quinn.

They thought Aaron Brooks would succeed. I guess they were wrong. They though their offense was fine with Moss and Jordan so they focused on defense and got the best player available. Michael Huff is an excellent d-back.

the colts are a different story. peyton manning is peyton manning. he's not good because he started as a rookie. it's a shame for randy moss, though. let's hope he gets traded so he doesn't have to spend the rest of his career there.

Matt Lienart needs to play for a team with a good or atleast decent offnesive line, Oakland just needs to re-organize and hire decent players.

AL DAVIS IS A JACKASS HE SHOULD GO SLAP HIMSELF!
