what is the theory that states that the gravitational, magnetic, and electric force fields all began as one force field?

There's no "proven" theory that does that, but that general research direction is often termed "quantum gravity". There are several candidate theories, like Loop Quantum Gravity, String Theory, M-Theory, etc. See, for example, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_gravity.

Grand Unification Theory (the previous answer) actually describes only weak, strong and electromagnetic forces; it does not include gravity.
