i like this guy and he's kinda preppy..well, not really..he dresses preppy and he's friends with the preps but not that much..just a little and he also have non-preps friends but anyway, he is hot and how do i make my move. he knows i exist because i'm like in 3 of his classes but i don't think he likes me..how do i make my move to let him know that i kinda like him but i don't want him to know like litterally. that i like him..i just want to be a little friends with him so i can say hi to him in the hallway or something. i try talking to him but i can't like..i'm stuck or something and i get really nervous. i know it's pretty long and you're tired of reading but i need help. oh yeah, and i'm not a preppyish type of person..just a normal kind, not gothic or something.

WEll first of all you need to meet him on his side of the fence. DRESS up a little more and learn a little more about his side of the fence.BECAUSE if you dont like him being preppy you may in the long run resent him.

If you like the guy, you can just smile and say hi to him in the hallway and let him respond in whatever way is natural for him. If he ignores you the first time then just do it again and again until you get bored with it or until he answers back. Being friendly doesn't mean that you have to commit to anything and if his mode of dress isn't exactly your style, so what. Who knows, if he likes you as much as you like him you might even sometime just talk with him about clothing styles and what they convey to others. If your under the age of fifty, you're both likely to change your clothing styles next week or next year anyway.

You just say, "Hey, Whats up?" See what is his reaction. IF he gives you good vibes, continue your conversation. IF not, say goodbye and start looking again. YOu are young only once in your lifetime. Enjoy and taste as many flavors you like :)
