i saw it in one art show on t.v they used a cut out image from magazine then they applied the "liquid solution" then the image was transferd on the cardboard.help??

You can use any good permanent glue or varnish.

I've used acrylic gel to "lift" an image from photocopies and set the embedded image onto another surface.

there are a lot of methods, you are probably thinking of Wintergreen Extract or Oil of Wintergreen, which can be applied to a xerox copy or picture from a magazine to transfer the image to another surface.

paint thinner or acetone work real well...
