I used to like Ashley Cole because he's a defender (like me) and he was very determined, as shown in that play in the World Cup where he sprinted back and saved a goal. He was also on one of my favored teams (Arsenal). Now that he left Arsenal and talked bad about it, I don't like him as much.
Now my favorite player is Didier Drogba. I admire his shooting and positioning skills. He's always in the right place. When he gets the ball, he's always a threat.

ZiZu...Zinedine Zidane. Forget that world cup mess. The man's sister was insulted and he took a stand. Very Honorable...He is arguably the best footballer our generation has seen. Most of us are too young to remember Pele, so Zidane's brilliance with the ball is uncomparable. The man had the ball on a string at his feet, had pace, was able to distribute wonderfully, and won at every level he played. Ronaldhino's skill is the closest ive seen to zidane. In a few year's Ronaldhino will take the crown, but til then, all praises to ZIZU
ps. Cristiano Ronaldo should be an actor not a footballer, he managed to lose the big game for Man U against Arsenal when he was dispossessed by Cesc Fabregas which lead to the game winning goal

of the active ones miroslav klose. he is one of the most technically skilled and versatile strikers i've ever seen in my life, great in the air, able to intervene in the midfield if necessary, with an excellent goal instinct, and already in the eternal top ten of german goal scorers at the age of 28, so with a good few years still ahead of him. on top of that, he is a humble, grounded guy who doesn't think being successful in his sport makes him cooler than other people. he comes onto the pitch, does his job and then goes home to his wife and kids, no celebrity high life for him. and he plays for werder bremen and has no intention of not seeing out his contract, wahey! :-D miro rocks! :-)
