When I was an oversexed teenage boy, I used to think it would be SO COOL to have more than one wife. Automatic full-time threesomes, yeah baby!

Now that I'm an oversexed middle-aged boy, I think it would be an absolute freaking NIGHTMARE. I mean, I have the nicest, most reasonable and most sensible wife in the world, and we STILL have trouble coordinating, communicating, and keeping the relationship together (hmmm, so if SHE is nice, reasonable and sensible, then the problem in the relationship must come from -- oh, look, donuts!)

I can't help but think that the complexities of trying to manage a three-part relationship 24x7 would be just monstrous. Even if all THREE parties were nice, reasonable and sensible.

Monogamy is the custom or condition of having only one mate during a period of time. The word monogamy comes from the Greek word monos, which means one or alone, and the Greek word gamos, which means marriage or union. It literally means being married to one person. People currently apply the term monogamy to both married and unmarried couples.

From a purely objective point of view, I can't see how it would work. I'd think there'd be a lot of jealousy and bickering, and just too many problems in general to make it feasible.

From a woman's point of view--there's no way my man would ever take on a second (or third) wife and live!

Well, I think that it doesn't leave any room for emotions or quality time between 2 people. It's like brainwashing people into thinking you can have love and be played at the same time, right in front of your face and it's "legal" and "okay".

I do not like it. Having extramarital affars is the same thing. People sometimes have one on the side and it could be a lot of people who have extramarital.

I believe it makes women subservient, and only satisfies the lust of the jerk who marries more then one woman.
