yyep i watched it and found it thoroughly interesting.I felt sorry for the people involved as they were all lonely and sad, and obviously felt like social rejects. perhaps they suffered from low self-esteem or had been hurt multiple times in past by women (highly likely as they can be nasty creatures), hence they resort to these dolls instead.
I was however amazed by how seriously they treated the dolls, like applying makeup etc to them. this indicated to me that the guys must really be sad and lonely. started watching it origianlly to see how good these dolls were:) but at end was just watching it to see the stories of the people involved. felt very sorry for them. i would say it is an unhealthy relationship as u just stop trying for the real thing. but if you are old and have tried everything and are certin u are not going to get a real woman for company and sex then i think its ok to get a doll (if u have the money - they were rather steeply priced). i felt particularly sorry for the lonely bloke who had kept his dead mums stuff in room preserved to remember her. was very very sad and touching. All seemed like nice guys imo.

Yes I saw it.... how fecking sad were the men on there... although.. haven't the dolls come on in leaps and bounds... goodness you can't stop progress!!!!
Well some blokes... well most of them... prefer women not to have an opinion and god forbid you have a joke at their expense... so really I think all men should have relationships with these mute plastic dolls and just donate at the local sperm bank so women can still take care of business.

I kinda felt sorry for the guys. How fecked-up do you have to be to think that a doll is better than a real woman. They need years of psychiatric help, at least. What did the world do to these guys!

I saw it and found it very sad that these men find it necessary to dress and put makeup on and kiss, sleep with and shag and talk to these thing like they were real.... There is someone for everyone in this world so I think they are sad human beings.... One man even had a girlfriend though she dumped in the end....So would I, he had eight of these life sized slutty looking dolls

Apart from being impressed by the workmanship (& cost) of the dolls I thought the whole thing was rather sad

I saw this programme and i thought that these men were clearly ill, mentally unstable and need sectioning
They obviously need proper psychiatric help and proper care they should be medicated not glorified on TV.
This shouldn't been glamourised on TV so other ill people don't think that this is a normal thing to do

but they weren't blow-up. they were the real thing. and such good company. didn't argue, smell, belch, moan, gripe, watch east-enders, go to bingo, finish off the whisky, smoke fags, snore. you name it.
how much were they?
