This question has been asked now 68 times in Yahoo answers. Try a "search for questions" on your question. Not criticizing you, for the way Yahoo Answers works it is not always easy to find your same question (although in this case it turned out to not be hard), but I think it is neat to see the interest in this question.
I suppose one ought to see how frequently each question is, and find the most-asked question of all. This would be a semi-scientific way of determining the questions most people care about.
Oh, and my answer is "read all over." (I.e., like a newspaper.)

oh man there is a funny joke about zebra stripes that my sis told me..here it is! hope this helps!!! lol
There was a zebra who always wanted to know if he was white with black stripes or black with white stripes. It his time had come, and he met Peter at the pearly gates of heaven. He walked up and asked "Peter, am I white with black stripes or black with white stripes?" Peter replied, "I dont know, why dont you ask the big guy your self." Well the zebra walked through the gaits and met God. He asked"God, am I white with black stripes, or black with white stripes?" God replied" You are, what you are" The zebra puzzled, asked again. God replied with "You are, what you are'' So the zebra left, He met up with Peter later that day. Peter asked him if he ever found out what he is. The Zebra told him what god said. Then Peter replied "Ahhhhh...I know what you are..." "You are white with black stripes" and the zebra asked "How did you know that?" Peter said "Well if you were black with white stripes, God would have said 'You is, what you is'"
im srry if i offended anybody, but i thought it was a funny joke, im just making light of the situation. I do not mean to be racist at all.

White with black stripes. The black doesn't always meet at the "edges" but the white does.

I think they're white with black stripes. It seems like the black lines are thin, so that's why I think that.
