This whole thing is getting on my nerves.I didn't really care about it, but now I do. All of these Central immigrants are turing the USA into a Spanish speaking country. I hate it, and they are making it harder for a lot of the African and Asian immigrants to come to this country legally. And this chick Elvira Arellano is comparing herself to Rosa Parks. Elvira didn't do anything but jump over the boarder illegally Rosa stood up against discrimanation. That make sme so sick when the Pro-immigration activists think that they're struggle is like the Civil Rights Movement!

Immigration is vital to our ecomomic and cultural success. Immigrants traditionally do the lowest work on the rung and without them, those jobs would not be filled with citizens, they would just go without. Before you think those jobs are unimportant, realize that they pick, and process all the food that you eat, they pick up the garbage you put on the side of the road, they cook the food you eat at fast food restaurants, immigrants unload all the stuff you buy at the malls. Without people doing this work, which is often for low pay, you would have anything that you didn't eat or make yourself. Immigrants bring new languages, foods, religions and ideas to our country. They revitalize the apathy that has immobalized our country. Across the country cultural events like the four of july events are not being patronized by 'typical' american they are being patronized by Mexican and other spanish speaking immigrants. These groups value family and family activities. They also have struggled to get here and to stay here and value even more the freedoms that they get here.

I am hispanic. I was born in the USA. Even my great grandmother was born an American citizen. I love being hispanic. But for any immigrant to come into the US, they should go through the process of becoming a citizen if they want to be here. As for Rosa Parks, I wouldn't say she did to much either. I could sit in a bus and have people shout at me. Elvira needs to go back where she came from.
