Someone who has to consider whether it is worth staying in the present job.
We work to earn a living, if it takes too much of a toll on us, then we may be better off elsewhere.
To me, feeling deflated at most a few days in a row is acceptable. Life goes by cycles, and sometimes we just have to grin and bear it.
However, if the period of deflation is longer than a week or so, then there's something wrong. This unhappiness resulting from work will spill over into the rest of your life, affecting everything, and everybody around you. You shouldn't let that happen. Look for another job.
I have changed jobs four times; the feeling when you finally leave a work place where you were unhappy is wonderful; literally a weight is lifted off your shoulders. It's like the gremlin who was making you unhappy just leaves...

I've definitely felt like that before, it's almost a feeling of resentment, like "why should I put up with this crap?!" But then I changed jobs and I am much happier. And it's not because of the nature of the work itself, it's because of my new co-workers (I think that the people you work with makes up 90% of job satisfaction....) and the general environment. It makes the tasks I don't enjoy that much more bearable. When I was not enjoying my old job, though, I kept telling myself that it's not forever, it's just a stepping stone to something better.
When I have days like that (everyone does, even well-paid actors, even people who adore their jobs) I try to plan something I enjoy after work so that I have something to look forward to during the day. That's why Monday evening is always a movie night or something else that's fun.
Don't get too down about it, and plan activities that you can look forward to.

Deflated, let air or gas out, or cause to feel suddenly dispirited.
Depressed, cause to feel utterly dispirited or dejected.
Get out of bed each day with a smile on your face because today is a new day and let your warmth glow over your work colleagues, if that doesn't work, keep smiling, they have more problems than you!

I think it means you're in the wrong company. I've been in situations like that and it started to take a toll on my health in general. I now work for an awesome boss with supportive co-workers and I'm happy again!

Don't go to work in order to make a living. Go to work in order to make a life. Do that and your whole world will change. A story tells of a man who earned two coins at the end of a hard day's work. With one he bought bread, to have what to live on. With the other, a flower, to have what to live FOR.
Go and find your flower

Well I used to hate the different agency jobs I did, correction I didn't always hate them but I didn't enjoy them, but am currently in a job I enjoy, it isn't always fun or enjoyable and can be boring but I don't dread mondays anymore - find your niche - and then life will be much more enjoyable. (I look after disabled guys)

I go through the bad days jsut to make a living, but with hopes that if one day is completely crappy the next has only got to improve!
And now, I'm going to take a nap, my day has stressed me out like none other.
