No. There's nothing to be ashamed of.

Some religions demand circumcision, though, and if you're an adherent of one of those religions, you might ask your spiritual leader about it. Some people do get circumcized as adults (this happened to a relative of mine).

Absolutely not. Here in the UK many find the American obsession with circumcising infants odd.
The hygiene issue is a flat lie. A foreskin can easily be peeled back and the underneath washed.
Many of the nerve ending are actually in the tip of the penis, so the body is damaged, often without any convincing medical grounds.
Circumcision is genital mutilation. If people started removing the clitoris in infants people would be able to see what a crime this is.
Be proud that your parents did not have you scarred and mutilated as an infant.

Assamed? Maybe. Ashamed, No.

The National Center for Health Statistics stated that the overall rate of neonatal circumcision was 64.3% in 1979 and 65.3% in 1999. However, the rate for white infants was 0.3% lower in 1999 than 1979 and the circumcision rate for black infants increased by 6.5% over this time [41]. Also, strong regional differences developed. In the West, circumcision declined from 63.9% to 36.7%, but this was counterbalanced by rises in the Midwest and South. [42] The decline in the West has been partly attributed to increasing births among Latin Americans, who usually do not circumcise [43].

Not at all brother; many men are uncut and from readings and talking to other men; have much more gratification with sen-sexuality. Be thankful that you haven't done so. If you are thinking about it; mind you, its a very painful ordeal and will put you out of commission for at least a month, maybe more. The healing process, will make you bedridden, and walking is even worse. Don't do it. Male babies, generally have their foreskin removed on the 7th or 8th day after birth. That's because vitamin K, is at its highest.

Instead of feeling ashamed consider yourself lucky. It's natural to have a foreskin. It's natures way of protecting the glans (the head of the penis).
Circumsision is unnatural and does nothing for your sex life. It decensitises your penis.
You and your partner will really begin to appreciate your foreskin when you have sex. The forskin acts as a lubricant and therefore protects both you and your partner from chafing. Because it protects the sensitivity of the head (glans) you will experience greater pleasure than those who have been circumcised.
Just make sure that you keep your genitals clean.
Have fun with it. It's a gift, enjoy.

Since you are asking the question, I'm guessing you are in the USA. It does seem to be a common thing there, but, religion apart, I'm not sure why. In Europe it is far less common apart from religious or medical reasons, so why should you be ashamed? I can only assume it's some sort of peer pressure that causes it to be done so frequently there.

No. Personally I think that circumcision is butchery. For some, it has to be carried out for religious or medical reasons but there is no point in it otherwise. It leaves the penis looking ugly and deformed. I have heard the old stories about hygiene, but I have never had a hygiene problem with mine. I know how to shower!

It's a good job you don't have to have a spelling test before the 'cut' because even if you wanted it you sure wouldn't qualify !

Not at all. I think more parents should be ashamed at putting their boys through this painful procedure. You should feel thankful that you've been allowed to proceed through this life with all that you were blessed with. (P.S., I once watched a show and they said that circumcision actually shortens your penis by up to 1-inch by the time you reach adulthood.)
