I live in NH right on the border of Maine. My husband was from Maine and I lovingly make fun of him being from Maine. I find that you can meet some of the nicest people in the small towns in Maine. The state itself is very beautiful and scenic with not alot of big cities. You just have to watch out for the smelly paper processing plants.

I'm on L.I. so it's a little bit similar, nice area, nice people but, they always judge people, they say things like "Nice fella but, he's not a Mainer", people hear that all the time.

I'm from New Hampshire. I love all Mainers, because they're not crazy drivers (like Massholes). And I love Bah Hahbah. ;)
