They dress all gross and are completely out of proportion! And you thought Barbie was bad! At least she has a nose!
What can we do to get these horrid toys away from the young women of America?

to brat8278-
Feeling pretty isn't the only road to self esteem. How about playing sports or a musical instrument? You know, something non-shallow.
It's not the clothes on the dolls I am worried about. It's the fact they have no nose.
And if you want to know- I am for gay marriage.

I didn't like the idea of Bratz when I saw them, just because of the central concept. To name these dolls the opposite of what we want our kids to be. Is there a line for boys called Bully?

As far as how they look and their proportions, I don't have that much of a problem (although you're right -- they do look a little strange in the face). To me, that would be like campaigning against Cabbage Patch dolls because they were obese. Barbie was a big deal because Mattel had a big chunk of that market, and therefore influenced a generation. But nowadays there are so many little things to distract kids, that Bratz won't reach the iconic status of Barbie. Economically nor culturally.

It helps to have smart parents to explain and ration exposure, too.

I thought I was the only one who wouldn't let my kid have the things! My mother bought her a Bratz baby. It was called "Sip and Spa" It was a "baby" bratz sitting in what looked like a martini glass in her panties and t shirt with belly showing. G R O S S! My mom was kind of embarrassed when we got it out of the package. She wasn't wearing her magnifying glasses when she bought it and would never had suspected such a thing! I am with you on the Anti-Bratz rampage. Who makes these things anyway? Is it the same company as Barbie or a competitor?

Why are you hating on a doll. My daughter is 10yrs and loves them She has almost all of them. Jade and Sasha are her favorite. The BRATZ cartoons have good friendship values. Not like those NICK cartoons where the kids burp and fart all day - yuck

I think you should stage a protest march in the nude that will draw attention to your cause.

i think this is ridiculous!!!first off they are just dolls not lil porn stars standing there with there boobs and vagina's exposed and second all the close found on these dolls are just the same cloths you can find on in stores that real people wear Evan Wall-Mart! and these days that's just what women are wearing that like fashion-and fashion is not a bad thing for small girls it gives them a sense of beauty and GOOD selfastem cuz they feel pretty! and people that find these dolls as a disgrace they probably don't have a fashion sense and probably have self esteem issues and dress like the Amish people. so get over it all and think about more serious issues like gay marriage(for it not against it) and impeaching that dumbass prez Bush!!!

Convince a Republican senator to endorse them - then no one'll buy the damned things.
