1: A= L*W, if l=20 and A=4, find w
2: 1/2h9x+y)= A, if H=4, x=12, and A=200, find y.

Given a point and a slope, write the equation of the line in the slope-intercept form.
(y + mx = b)

3. m=3/4, (8,-2)

Given two points slope, write the equation of the line in the slope-intercept form.

1) A = LW. substitutel
4 = 20W
W= 1/5
check: 4 = 20*(1/5)
4 = 4!

2) i'm slightly confused where the parenthesis is, so i'm assuming it's in front of the 9!

1/2h(9x+y) = A
1/2(4)(9*12+y) = 200
2(108 + y) = 200
216 + 2y = 200
2y = -16
y = -8

1 L x W = A 20 x 1/5 = 4
2. Plug the numbers in
1/2 of H is 2
2x9 is 18
18x12 is 216
so Y is A(200)-216 = -6
3. The equation should be y-mx=b then just plug in the numbers -2 - 3/4(8) + b find b so -2 -6 = b
4 the slope m is Y2-Y1/X2-X1 choose either position to be 1 or 2
Then take either point and put it into the equation y = mx + b
