I have been receiving harassing emails from an old friend and want to know how to report them to AOL. Also, can you block that person from sending you email all together on AOL,Yahoo & hotmail etc??

Email TOSEmail1@aol.com, that's assuming they are an AOL member too. Otherwise you will have to grin abd bear it expect...
If you mark the email as Spam or Junk , in AOL, Yahoo, Hotmail then eventually it will go straight to your Spam or Deleted box you should never have to see it in your mailbox.

agrees with the above post except for one detail in order for the police to get interested you will need to take a print out of the harassing mail so it turns into a police matter regarding harassment of an individual. and of course printing out the email will prove in court that he/she did actually harass you and will not be as able to dismiss you as being paranoid, crazy, etc...

Do those things the friendly people above are advising you but also go to your local police department.They can really put a stop to this.
