Because there's a part in all of us that wants to help. Many don't because they're afraid of being taken advantage of, in some way or another. I don't give money to someone who asks for it. Instead, I find out what their true need is, like food. Then, I take them to the store and buy them the food that they need. I know it also comes back to you too, though that's not why I do it. But, when you do need it, it feels good to receive it too. It does good for both the giver and the receiver, making everyone's day better. It's got to do with that part inside of us that God wants to use to bless others with His goodness, bringing glory to His name. It's what we were put here for. <*)))><

For me ,it's because I know what it feels like to be in need.. and I feel good to give back what was given to me.

for me i remember being in need myself....and the relief i felt when somebody helped me out...
like when i was 81/2 months pregnant, trying to change my tire at 5:00 in the morning....i got the busted tire off & a trucker stopped to help me
or when i first got married & where my husband worked suddenly went bankrupt & we were trying to pay our's and his parent's bills with my waitressing job....when our church paid my car insurance
when you help somebody out you feel the relief with them...it is a blessing on both
