I checked out the US patent web site and most of the fees are around $1000 but im not really sure because the information is rather confusing I'll leave the web address were I got this info http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/ac/qs/ope/fee2006september15.htm

if you are talking about the actual video/computer game then you should have it copyrighted not patented. Patents are for inventions which a game console is but not a game itself.
