cause its in their nature to be the boss all the way back to cave men days . A 100 years ago men were bread winners and wives stayed home an obeyed but then came technology and bit by bit its made us equal and there`s why they hog the remote its the only thing left for them to be the master of .and they`re clinging onto it and not letting go Bless em

It is true, all the men I know just walk into the room and take the remote control, they don't even want to change the chanel. It's like a security blanket or something. Almost sweet, if it weren't so annoying!

its because men like to be the controlling influence, in charge. It takes the power away from women. Besides men are only capable of doing one thing at a time, whereas your wife is probably multi-tasking right now.

I have to disagree most emphatically with your wife. One would have needed a crowbar to have separated the last female i was involved with from a remote control.

Girls know how to use remote controls just fine, but the annoying thing is, is they normally flip channells over and over and over, and the moment something interesting is on they see some dumb program like soaps or gilmore girls etc and want to watch that. Like my girlfriend HATES mythbusters but I love watching them blow chit up, whenever it's on she wants to watch this lame New Zealand soap called shortland street which is REALLY retarded and stupid.
Short answer: girls always want to watch retarded stuff and keep flipping channels in a really irritating way!!!

Plain a simple becuse we are men! TV was made for men to watch football and when football isnt on we watch action movies or show with action in them.
