we have been told that the person that is doing the licensing of the EMT's and Paramedics has a rule, not a law, that EMT's and Paramedics can not draw blood at the scene of an accident for the purpose of a blood alchol or drugs. Therefore if you have to take them to a trauma center or hospital that is in another state, the bloood test drawn at the hospital is inadmissable in a court of law. can some one please tell us if this is true, and how i can find out who is the highest ranking person in ms, over the licensing board to get these rules changed. My brother was recently killed in MS, we were told for alomost 3 months that we had to wait for the blood test to come back and when it did, the grand jury wouldn't except it because it was drawn at the trauma center that is in the next state, even though the accident occured about 5 miles from the state line and is the closest trauma center around, so the man may get off with killing my brother when he had something in his system,
