Its a digital music player. Unfortunately they are not making 1GB Nano's now but they do have a 1GB Shuffle and 2GB,4GB, and 8GB colorful nanos available.

it is like how your computer holds mp3 and you can pick your music,well an Ipod hold mp3s too and you listen to what you want when you want on it.And 1 Gigabyte nano holds about 500 songs on it.

an ipod is the greatest invention to mankind today!!!!!! All my friends have one including me! Theyre really cheap and the coolest thing ever. They are usually only $200. Great deal!!!!!! They hold thousands of songs by the way!
