I am ok with it, I am only requesting that we have something legally drawn up saying when he will be leaving, thier destination and when they will be returning. The wife seems to be making the decisions and he doesnt. SHE said they say they are not going to do that and choose to not take them. I dont think i am wrong but if i am , please shed some light on the situation

No matter how close you are to this third party, I would definitely draw something up that says when the cruise begins and ends, where they will be going, what cruise line it is, etc. It's for ultimately your protection and theirs, even though you probably don't have anything to worry about.

You should also write a letter of consent so that just in case of an emergency the people that are taking your kids are able to allow medical care to be given. Be sure to include the insurance plan you have as well as the kid(s) medical record number.

Good luck, and I hope everything works out well!

NO WAY
With all the things people are doing to children now why would you even consider this? Misstakes are made cause people don't bother to think of the outcome. I don't want to read about another child missing or dead due to lack of responsibility or ignorance. We the parent should be just that the parent and stand by our children on guard of all. When one is making decisions the other has their own plans. Be werry of silent partners...
GOD BLESS

No, I think you are right to want paperwork drawn up. Actually I believe that should be the case anyway. My parents took my son to Israel without me and we had to go through all sorts of stuff with the airlines to prove that I was OK with him leaving the country without me.

It sounds like a great experience for the kids. Just go over all of their medicines and get emergency numbers. Give him a list of all of their shots and any other med. Info. You may have to sign a paper allowing your ex to get them medical treatment in an emergency.

What you ask seems simple and harmless. Tell him you attorney insists on it so you have to do it, that way its not personal
